The Whisky Whistler - Saturdays 16th & 23th June 2018

Train Journey & tour of whisky distillery.

We’ve teamed up with Angus Transport Group and Fettercairn Distillery to bring you a day out with a difference.

Treat yourself to a ride on a heritage diesel hauled train through the picturesque Angus countryside AND a tour around one of Scotland’s oldest malt whisky distilleries.

The day will begin at Brechin station. Boarding the 12.20 service, the journey to Bridge of Dun will take around 20 minutes. Upon arrival, you will be met by a restored classic bus, that will take you on the free service up to the distillery. The bus will depart Bridge of Dun at 1pm and will take around 30 minutes to reach the distillery. Once there, you will be given a tour of the facility and offered the chance to sample some of their finest malt Whisky. The tour will take about an hour, with the bus departing at 2.45pm. The bus will arrive at Bridge of Dun at around 3.15pm, allowing you and your party to catch the last train back to Brechin at 3.35pm.
